Tun daga shekarar 2022, kasuwar makamashi ta cikin gida ta kasance "tashi". Duk da cewa kamfanonin motocin lantarki da suka sanar da hauhawar farashi a watan Maris sun taru, hauhawar farashin ta fara tasowa tun daga karshen shekarar 2021. Tun lokacin da Leapmotor T03 ta sanar da karuwar farashi na CHY 8000 a karshen shekarar da ta gabata, karuwar farashin ta shafi kusan dukkan sabbin kamfanonin makamashi na cikin gida. A ranar 1 ga Janairu, 2022, GAC AEAN, Nezha, Weima, Tesla da sauran sabbin kamfanonin motocin makamashi na kasar Sin da na kasashen waje sun kammala karuwar farashi a rana daya.
